Wawasee too

These great pics are thanks to my talented sis Taryn. She is our resident photographer and does a marvelous job.

Wawasee

We spent a great weekend at Wawasee with my family. We also celebrated my 31st birthday with pedicures, cupcakes and lots of fun. We soaked in the sun, turtle hunted and ate lots of goodies. It was a blast.

Camera Woes

Yes. I know it has been awhile. But I have a good excuse. My camera has been missing, for about 2 weeks. You know how maddening it can be when you just can't place where something should be. I retraced my steps and remembering reluctantly and vaguely putting my camera on top of the van while I put together the boys ramp we got for their birthday. I also remember thinking, this isn't a good idea, while I did it. So it was gone. I was going to buy a new one for my birthday. On our way home from Wawasee I called to get my messages and a family up the street had left word that they had found something that was ours. They found it in the middle of the street. It is without a scratch and working. How amazing is that. God cares even for the little things in our lives.

Birthday Bash

Stop the clock, my baby boys are getting too big. Noah is 8 today, Oliver is 6 next week and Silas is 3 months already. It is really is a lesson in living in each moment. We had a family party last evening and the kids had a blast. It was a warm evening for pizza, cake, presents and slip and slide and not to forget the pinata.
Eight years ago Noah was born after I had been on bed rest for 2 1/2 months. He was born 3 1/2 weeks early at 7 lbs 1 oz. What a special boy he has become. And Yes, those are toads that Iris and Naomi are holding. They have been adopted into our home, literally, the past week. They are Naomi's special friend and have been lost in her room, smashed in Silas's face, hid in my terarium and taken rides in her room, hopping on counter nearly in the birthday cake, plus countless other things I am not aware of.

Festival Fun

Last week we went to the Cherry Festival for the first time. Rides, elephant ears, cotton candy oh my! It was a great time. I even got in on the action and went on the swings with Oliver and Ava. Let me just say, they are a lot higher than they look, but really fun. The kids enjoyed getting licked by the goats in the pet pen and going on all the rides. Yeah it's summertime fun.
